Traveling in Hokkaido during winter season has been extremely popular recently, so do pay a visit before spring officially comes! Not familiar with the places? How about joining a four-day tour covering exciting itinerary such as sightseeing of beautiful snow lake, amazing hot spring and more? You will be traveling by bus all along so it will surely save you a lot of time and effort from all the hassles. But if you prefer traveling on your own, this itinerary might as well give you some clues for your upcoming trip!

Day 1

The Express Bus “Marimo” will depart at 10:00 from Century Royal Hotel, and then it will stop by the beautiful Obihiro Tokachi and you can spend a nice lunch time there.


The bus will then continue to Lake Akan Onsen and arrive early evening, where you can enjoy the beautiful lake view and amazing onsen. If you are interested to know more about local culture, you may check out the Ainu traditional dance show at your own cost too.

Day 2

After a good rest with nice breakfast, get yourselves ready for some snow activities on Ice Land Akan such as pond smelt fishing, snowmobile and banana boat! The spectacular all-white scenery is going to be breathtaking.


The Eastern Hokkaido Sightseeing Bus will depart at 13:25 from New Akan Hotel to Akan International Crane Center, where from there you can see endangered red crowned cranes being preserved in this area so that they are safe and sound especially during the cold weather. Next up, you can move on to Tokachigawa Onsen, which is also being known as “Hot spring of Beauty”, where you can sit back and relax for a few hours before returning to the hotel.

Day 3

Departing by bus in the morning, it will briefly stop at Former Koufuku Station and then continue to ANA Crowne Plaza Sapporo. Upon arrival, you can then enjoy the entire day around the area at your own preference!


Day 4

There are quite a number of activities planned on the last day, you will first depart from Sapporo Station Bus Terminal to “Shiroi Koibito Park”, the theme park of the most famous sweets in Sapporo. You can see how this famous souvenir “Shiroi Koibito” are being made in the factory, and bake the cookies yourself too. Then move on to Otaru Canal, the place which is famous for its retro romantic streetscape of historic buildings along the canal.


After lunch, do drop by Nikka Whiskey factory, the representative distillery of Japan, where free sample tasting are available for you to try out this unique Japanese whiskey.

This tour will end in the evening which all will then return to the Sapporo Station.
