The tough winter is finally slipping away gradually, and here comes the month of March with Japan’s spectacular cherry blossoms! Don’t miss the chance to visit Japan during the spring season and be amazed by the magnificent scenery!

Good time always pass by quickly – the blooming season usually only lasts for about half a month, and each region with different latitude has different temperature, thus blooming seasons are different too. Therefore, when and where to go is a crucial thing you have to consider and forecasts will be a very helpful tool for you. The best period to enjoy cherry blossom would be the week since it is fully blossomed which after that they will slowly fade. Here is a 2018 forecast schedule in case you are searching for one –

Each city has a lot of great spots to view the cherry blossoms, such as Tokyo’s Shinjuku Gyoen National Garden and Ueno Onshi Park, Osaka’s Kema Sakuranomiya Park and Osaka Castle Park, Nara’s Yoshinoyama and Koriyama Castle Park, Kyoto’s Maruyama Park, Philosopher’s Path, and Fukuoka’s Fukuoka Castle and Nishi Park etc. Even just by strolling on the street you will also be able to see the dreamy view if you come to Japan at the right time, not to even mention picnicking under a large beautiful tree on a sunny day, spending the warm afternoon in the pink paradise. But the forecast will change over time, so keep yourself posted with the local Weather Bureau forecasts which will be regularly updated from March 5th onwards.

A friendly reminder to those of you who are planning a cherry blossom trip to Japan this year – it is always a peak season around this time of the year as even local Japanese will travel around the country to appreciate this amazing scenery, so reserve your accommodations and tickets before it’s too late! 1520149653(1)
