This bathroom was originally made for the attendants of the Emperor and imperial family. With Aji stone from Kagawa Prefecture, Ōshima stone from Imabari, and marble walls, the bathroom has a very luxurious feeling. In 1961, the ladies’ bathroom was expanded, and Tama no Yu became the men’s bath.
