2. Hayami Gyoshū  – The Destruction and Creation of Nihonga

Hayami Gyoshū (1894-1935)’s famous artwork ‘Dancing in the Flames ‘ with the meaning of “the moth flies into the flame”, in which he tried to merged the western style and skills into the eastern paintings, but without losing the Nihonga style. The color of this artwork mainly in red that “Fire” dominance the half part of the paper which makes the style very close to the impression style.

3. Eugène Carrière

This is an exhibition of works by Eugène Carrière (born 1849, died 1906), one of the quintessential 19th Century French Symbolist artists. He is also a good friend of the famous sculpture artist Auguste Rodin. He is also very talented in the field of illustration and sculpture.
